UserSummaryX: email me the gist
Paste a link to a long video, an article or a PDF and get a summary by email in a minute or two, with the transcript for videos.

Set it up (about a minute)
- Open https://useralertx.com/email-me-a-summary.html
- Tap Turn on UserSummaryX. It's off on every account until you turn it on, so nobody can use your account for it without you.
- Paste a link, some text, or choose a PDF, and tap Summarize. Optional: say what to focus on, like "just the action items".
Or tell your AI agent: "email me a summary of this video using UserSummaryX" (tool: email_me_summary).
Cost
- 2 tokens a summary of a web page, a PDF, pasted text, or a video with captions (most YouTube videos have them).
- +1 token per 5 minutes for a video with no captions. You see the price and say yes before it starts.
Charged only when the summary is emailed. The free trial includes 3 summaries. Videos up to 3 hours, 25 summaries a day.
Good to know
- A summary always goes to your own email. There is no "send to" anywhere.
- Private, members-only or paywalled pages won't work; then it's "not made" and not charged.
- Summaries are made by AI and can miss things. For anything that matters, check the original.
