Inviting people and how they join
You can't type or upload anyone's phone number. Each person adds their own, which keeps every group opt-in only.

Invite
On the group page, under Invite people, list people one per line: Pat Smith <[email protected]>, [email protected], Pat Smith or just an email. Each one gets an email invite from you.
How a person joins
- They open the invite and enter their own mobile number.
- They agree to the texts on the page.
- They reply YES to our confirmation text.
Nothing is sent to them until they reply YES. No text yet? The page has a Text me again button.
The people list
Each person shows as Invited (email sent), Joined - waiting for their YES, Confirmed - gets texts or Stopped. You see only the last 4 digits of their numbers.
- Re-send: sends an invite again to someone who hasn't answered (up to 3 reminders).
- Remove: takes someone out of the group; they get no more of its texts.
Stopping
A member replies STOP to stop every MemberAlertX group, or STOP and a group's name to stop just that one. START turns them back on. See STOP, START, HELP and pause.
