Help › UserAlertX - text alerts to your own phone
Send an alert by email
Your account has its own alert address. Anything emailed to it is texted to you: the subject, then the message.
On this page
[email protected]
It is on your account screen with a Copy button. Point a program, a camera, a building alarm or an AI agent at it.
What arrives
Subject "Build finished" and body "all checks green" arrive as:
UserAlertX: Build finished: all checks green
Plain and HTML email both work, up to about 1,500 characters.
Good to know
- Mail from any sender is accepted, so every device can use the same address.
- The address contains your API key, so it is the password. Keep it private. If it leaks, regenerate the API key and the old address stops working.
- A rejected email (wrong key, over the limit) is not bounced back; nothing happens. If an alert doesn't arrive, check the address first.
NoteDon't mix it up with your agent inbox address (
[email protected]). That one keeps mail for your AI agent to read and only texts you "mail arrived". See AgentInboX: an email address your AI agent can read.Related topics
