Save the group as a contact (and give it its own sound)
Members can save the group as a phone contact, so its texts show the group's name instead of a number and can have their own text sound.

Save the contact
The join page has Save ... to your contacts:
- On the phone: tap it and save the contact card.
- On a computer: scan the QR code with the phone, or press Text me the link to get the link by text.
The contact is named after the group. Someone in 2 or more groups gets one "MemberAlertX" contact, because all groups text from the same number for now.
Give it its own sound
- iPhone: open Contacts, then the group's contact, Edit, Text Tone, and pick one you don't use for anything else.
- Android: after the first group text arrives, open that conversation in Messages, tap the menu (top right), then Details, Notifications, Sound, and pick one you don't use for anything else.
TipA sound of its own means you know it's the group before you even look at the phone.
